ConforMIS Releases Second Generation Knee Resurfacing System

ConforMIS, a Burlington, Mass.-based medical device manufacturer, has released the iDuo G2, the second generation of the company’s patient-specific bicompartmental knee resurfacing system, according to a company news release.

The iDuo G2 was designed to provide a less-invasive alternative to total knee replacement for patients with diseases in the medial or lateral compartment or the patellofemoral joint. The device includes an engineered patellofemoral joint and iView planning images.
