CoNextions Medical to introduce tendon repair device at AAOS meeting: 3 quick notes

CoNextions Medical will introduce its next-generation tendon repair technology, CoNextions TR, at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2016 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., from March 1 to 5.

Here are three quick notes:

 

1. CoNextions TR is intended for use in tendon repairs in flexor and extensor tendon lacerations in the hand and forearm, flexor and extensor tendon repair in the foot, and peroneal tendon repairs in the ankle.

 

2. The device is designed to deliver stronger repair strength over suture-based tendon repair.

 

3. The company will also demonstrate the CoNextions TR device at the AAOS meeting.
