CNS meeting to include Mazor’s spine surgery robot on live-steam: 3 key notes

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons will include a live-streamed surgery with the Renaissance Guidance System from Mazor.

Here are five key notes:

 

1. Hunaldo J. Villaobos, MD, will perform the procedure in Orlando.

 

2. The technology includes advanced three-dimensional planning and mechanical guidance for accuracy with screw placement.

 

3. The technology can be used with minimally invasive and percutaneous fusion, complex spinal deformity, trauma cases and cranial procedures.
