The clinic has purchased the ChartLogic EHR Suite, including the ChartLogic EMR, ChartLogic Document Management, ChartLogic ePrescribe, ChartLogic Patient Portal and ChartLogic Practice Management, according to a news release.

“Busy orthopedics practices need a specialized EHR so they can quickly enter clinical information and send and receive patient records,” said Brad Melis, CEO of ChartLogic, in the release. “They also need to be able to meet the government’s meaningful use requirements. That’s why ChartLogic has emerged as the EHR of choice for many high-volume specialists including orthopedists, ophthalmologists, cardiologists and podiatrists.”

Meli Orthopedics specializes in the treatment of shoulder and knee disorders, and includes Paul I. Meli, MD, FACS, FAAOS, chief of the department of surgery at Fort Lauderdale’s Holy Cross Hospital and a leading orthopedic surgeon.
