Centinel Spine sees record motion preservation sales in Q1

Centinel Spine in the first quarter of 2023 saw record worldwide motion preservation sales, the devicemaker said May 18.

The comapny saw more than $14 million in global sales for the segment, according to a news release. Motion preservation products saw a 38 percent increase in revenue year-over-year.

Growth in the segment was largely driven by adoption of the Prodisc C Vivo and Prodisc SK cervical discs. In the first quarter, there was a 60 percent increase in daily cases and almost 45 percent increase in new users compared to the same period in 2022.
