Centinel Spine sees 55% Prodisc revenue growth in 2023

Medical device company Centinel Spine saw a revenue of $70 million in Prodisc total disc replacement sales in 2023, a 55% growth from the year prior.

Centinel focuses exclusively on treating cervical and lumbar spinal disease with its total disc replacement technology platform. 

Prodisc cervical revenue reached $43 million, up 69% year over year. Prodisc lumbar revenue was also up 36% year over year. 

Nearly 800 surgeons used Prodisc portfolio products in 2023, representing a 44% growth. 2023 also saw 250 new Prodisc users. Sales in ASCs also grew 56% year-over-year. 

In 2023, Centinel launched the Prodisc C Vivo system and the Prodisc C SK, which saw nearly 3,700 procedures through the end of the year. The new systems drove a nearly 90% increase in full-year U.S. Prodisc cervical revenue and added an average of nearly 100 new surgeons per quarter.
