Fortos-C is a titanium fixation system with an open plate architecture that allows central visualization and graft and anatomical landmark identification, according to a July 26 news release. It is designed to complement Centinel Spine’s ACTILIF C interbody system.
“I have used the FORTOS-C plate and Centinel Spine’s 3D-printed FLX cages consistently for my cervical fusion cases,” Saqib Hasan, MD, of Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in Oakland, Calif., said in the release. “I’m very happy with the different lordotic options available for the interbody cages as well as the easy insertion.”
