Cardinal Health acquires Emerge Medical

Cardinal Health acquired Emerge Medical, according to a Health Point Capital report.

Emerge Medical is an orthopedics trauma products manufacturer whose products include cannulated screws and guide wires as well as drill bits. The acquisition strengthens Cardinal Health’s position in the orthopedics market and plans to launch a full-line of trauma products within the next year or so, according to the report.
