Captiva Spine doubled its revenue year-over-year in the first quarter of 2025, largely due to accelerated market adoption of its WatchTower spine navigation system, according to an April 23 news release.
WatchTower’s Roam unit, which has a smaller footprint, saw rapid adoption in the ASC space during the first quarter, and there has been more navigation adoption in rural access hospitals.
Looking ahead, Captiva Spine plans additional product enhancements and software updates for WatchTower.
“This platform has opened the door to new partnerships with independent distributors and spine implant companies, allowing WatchTower Navigation to enhance its clinical offerings,” Dale Mitchell, president of Captiva Spine, said in the release. “Our strong year-over-year revenue growth reflects the platform’s alignment with clinical needs and economic priorities in today’s spine care market.”
