Excelsius3D can be combined with Globus Medical’s Excelsius GPS robot and consolidates cone-beam CT, fluoroscopy and digital radiography into a single unit, according to a June 23 DOCS Health news release. The first spine surgeries completed with the three-in-one system were in May.
“This new tool will help us provide more efficient, accurate, and safer solutions to further optimize patients’ surgical outcomes in spine surgeries,” neurosurgeon Albert Wong, MD, said in the news release.
DOCS Health is physician-owned and operated.
