Bioventus promotes two new leaders — 6 things to know

Bioventus promoted Andrew Hosmer to managing director, international and Isabelle Levy-Unger to managing director, international.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Hosmer’s new position:

 

1. He will be responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the international headquarters office in Amsterdam.

 

2. Mr. Hosmer was previously director of European sales for Bioventus and helped the company establish an international sales and operations presence. He has been with the company since its inception in 2012.

 

3. Before joining Bioventus, Mr. Hosmer has experience working for Smith & Nephew in leadership positions. He was director of Canadian commercialization for the company’s biologics and spine business.

 

Here are three things to know about Ms. Levy-Unger:

 

1. She joined Bioventus in April 2013 and previously served as the director of international commercial operations for the Americas and director of operational excellence. In her new position, Ms. Levy-Unger will be responsible for Canada, Latin America and Asia.

 

2. Ms. Levy-Unger has previous experience with Grifols, formerly known as Talecris Biotherapeutics, where she was director of European commercial operations and senior director of international operations as well as head of sales.

 

3. Ms. Levy-Unger is fluent in three languages and holds a postgraduate degree in negotiation and international business.
