Biomet’s Indiana Facility Plans to Expand

Biomet, based in Warsaw, Ind., would like to invest $26 million in expanding its campus, which will create 280 new positions over a two-year period, according to a report by Bloomberg Business Week.

Biomet, a medical device manufacturer, has told Kosciusko county officials about pans to renovate current facilities as well as add new equipment. The Kosciusko County Council has approved Biomet’s request for economic development area status. Biomet is expected to request tax abatement at the council’s August 12 meeting.
