Biomet Reports $739.5M in Net Sales for 4Q, Up 3%

Orthopedic device manufacturer Biomet has reported adjusted operating income of $229.2 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012, indicating a 6 percent increase from the same period last year.

The device giant also reported net sales totaling $739.5 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012, a 3 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year, as well as an operating loss of $378 million during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012, compared to an operating loss of $847.3 million for the same period last year.
