Biomet Q1 Net Sales Grows 6% to $707.4M

Biomet’s first quarter net sales grew 6 percent to $707.4 million, compared to net sales of $664.6 million during the same quarter last year.

Broken out by business line, first quarter net sales from Biomet’s joint constructive products totaled $393 million. Sports, extremities and trauma units reaped $127.3 million, while spine and bone healing units totaled $77.9 million. Quarterly outcomes included Biomet’s acquisition of DePuy’s trauma operations.
