Baxano Surgical Launches iO-Tome Disposable Spinal Facetectomy Instrument

Raleigh, N.C.-based Baxano Surgical has launched the iO-Tome disposable facetectomy instrument for surgeons to use accompanying an interbody spinal fusion.

The device has a MicroBlade Shaver to allow surgeons to both rapidly and safely remove the facet joint.

The iO-Tome will be among the Baxano devices shown at the North American Spine Society, Congress of Neurosurgeons and Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeons conferences this fall.
