Bacterin’s OsteoSponge Proven Equal to Autograft

A new peer-reviewed article published in Dove Press Journal has shown that Bacterin’s OsteoSponge allograft exhibits ideal properties for bone generation.

The OsteoSponge was shown to act similarly to autografts but has the advantage of no complications at the harvest site or postoperative donor pain. The article includes a discussion of the strengths and limitations of bone grafts for treating osseous defects.
