Here are five things to know:

1. The agreement covers Bacterin’s line of biologic implants, including the 3Demin cortical fiber allografts.

2. The contract extends through June 2018.

3. Yankee Alliance is the first group purchasing organization to include Bacterin’s family of allografts. The allografts were developed for the bone replacement market, which is a $1.7 billion annual business segment.

4. The 3Demin was launched in late 2014, and the company experienced positive adoption of the allograft categories since then. Bacterin anticipates this growth will continue.
