AxioMed Spine Receives CE Mark for Cervical Disc

AxioMed Spine has received the CE Mark approval for its Freedom Cervical Disc, an elastomeric total spinal disc replacement device.

The disc is a visceolastic one-piece, next generation total disc replacement featuring a polymer core, designed to restore function of the spine and reduce pain and disability. The company is able to commercially distribute the disc in Europe and will purse the FDA IDE approval in the United States in the future.
