Aurora Spine launches lumbar fusion system

Aurora Spine launched its Hydra Osteo Onyx lumbar fusion system, the devicemaker said Oct. 15.

The device uses rough surface technology and can be used for patients with osteopenia or osteoporosis, according to a news release. It comes with a range of screw lengths and can be used for open and minimally invasive procedures.

Daniel Barba, MD, was the first surgeon to use the Hydra Osteo Onyx minimally invasive spine surgery system.
