Brent W. Johnston was named president of Milestone Scientific, a developer of computerized drug instruments.

Three quick facts:

1. As president, Mr. Johnston will oversee the global launch of Milestone’s CompuFlo Epidural System, in addition to regulatory activities, production and product commercialization.

2. Mr. Johnston comes to Milestone Scientific from spinal device company Clariance, where he was vice president of sales.

3. His prior titles include CEO of ExsoMed, an upper extremity orthopedic company, and chief business office of Aurora Spine.
