Atlas Spine licenses pivoting spacer system patents to Spine Wave: 5 key points

Jupiter, Fla.-based Atlas Spine exclusively licensed its True Position Pivoting Spacer System patents to Shelton, Conn.-based Spine Wave.

1. The True Position Spacer’s Center Pivot Point Technology allows surgeons to accurately position the spacer.

 

2. Surgeons may implant the spacer via minimally invasive techniques.

 

3. Under the agreement, Atlas Spine may still develop additional product variants using the licensed technology.

 

4. With the technology, Spine Wave is positioned to offer new solutions that will strengthen its market position.
