Atlas Spine Launches Apelo Minimally Invasive Pedicle Screw System

Jupiter, Fla.-based Atlas Spine announced the full release of its Apelo minimally invasive pedicle screw system.

The Apelo MIS implant is designed to treat degenerative disc disease, deformity and other spinal disorders. The modular design works for both percutaneous and mini-open procedures.

The Apelo system has several proprietary features, including a guidewire management system for control of the pedicle screw and wound retraction capabilities.
