Ascendx Spine VCF Repair System Receives FDA Clearance

The FDA granted 510(k) clearance to Ascendx Spine for its VCF Repair System for vertebral compression fractures.

The VCF system allows physicians to place a single bolus of bone cement in a vertebra with the balloon inflated.

This product, along with the Ascendx Acu-Cut Vertebral Augmentation System, is approved for marketing in Europe.
