ArthroCare Posts Q1 Revenue of $87.9M, 1.3% Decrease

ArthroCare has reported first quarter FY 2011 total revenue of $87.9 million, representing a 1.3 percent decrease from the same quarter last year, according to a company news release.

A detailed break-out of the company’s financial results shows its sports medicine product sales slumped this quarter, sitting at $56.7 million compared to $60.4 million in the same period in 2010. Other product sales, which consist principally of Coblation spine product sales, declined $0.5 million in Q1 of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010.

ArthroCare’s ENT product line, however, experienced a $2.6 million increase in sales.
