A jury’s decision in Oct. 2008 found that the claims of Medtronic’s CD HORION SEXTANT patents are valid and was infringed upon by Globus Medical. The patents are related to the surgical instrumentation systems for minimally invasively placing implants to provide stabilization during spinal fusion surgery.
