Amplify Surgical hits 1,000th level use milestone

Amplify Surgical’s dualX expanding interbody fusion system has been used in 1,000 spinal levels, the company announced April 13.

Pawel Jankowski, MD, performed the milestone case at ONE Brain & Spine Center in Irvine, Calif. 

The dualX technology is made up of a family of titanium expandable interbody devices designed to expand in both width and height. The device is implanted during lateral lumbar fusions, posterior lumbar interbody fusion or transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion.

Amplify Surgical is a privately held spinal device company in Laguna Hills, Calif.
