Amber Implants closes $10M series A financing round

Amber Implants recently closed a $10 million series A financing round, the spinal implant company said Jan. 19.

The company said it will use the funds to further validate its vertebral body augmentation system, VCFix, through testing and clinical studies. The system earned a breakthrough device designation from the FDA in September.

VCFix is a 3D-printed vertebral fracture implant that stimulates bone ingrowth and stability without bone cement.
