The company applied for a 10-year fast track payment-in-lieu-of-taxes program with the Economic Development Growth Engine for Memphis.

The project would require a $3.5 million capital investment. Over the 10-year term, taxes abated would total $585,680, compared to $4.6 million in total tax revenues received, according to the report.

The 95 jobs planned for the Memphis site would include 70 distribution roles and 25 engineering and management roles positions.

Alphatec launched 11 products in 2020. It expects to finalize the $116.9 million acquisition of EOS Imaging in the second quarter.
