Four things to know:
1. First quarter revenue of $71 million was a 61 percent increase year-over-year.
2. About 40 percent of revenue growth came from Alphatec’s lateral spine surgery procedure products, including for the prone trans-psoas technique.
3. The company trained more than 100 surgeons, contributing to an 18 percent increase in surgeon users year-over-year.
4. Average revenue per surgery grew by 11 percent. Factors contributing to this growth include strong adoption of procedures with more complexity.
