Mario Brkaric, MD, completed the first case with the Holo Portal system, according to a May 5 news release.
Holo Portal incorporates intraoperative images to plan screw placement trajectories and shows anatomy and pinpoints the paths using AR. In January, the FDA cleared the system for lumbar spine procedures, the release said.
