The S4 Element MIS is designed to minimize risk of open conversion during minimally invasive procedures. The system’s slim profile instrumentation and proven implant stability allows for a simple approach to percutaneous lumbar spinal fusion procedures.

Peyman Pakzaban, MD, of Houston MicroNeurosurgery in Pasadena, Texas, said the system was “a simple, intuitive and elegant system that has many unique features that address the needs of both experience and transitioning MIS surgeons.”

Features also include direct surgical visualization, optimized operating room workflow, implant stability and reduced risk of conversion.
