FlareHawk7 is a multidirectionally expandable device that has a 7mm insertion profile. The device also has a suite of instruments to facilitate surgical techniques including endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.

For some surgeons, the device lets them perform spine procedures without a hospital stay.

“FlareHawk7 enables me to do fully endoscopic interbody fusion as outpatient surgery, with the best endplate prep and great clinical results,” Jian Shen, MD, PhD, said.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
