6 medtech companies name leadership in 2 weeks

Since March 4, six spine and orthopedic devicemakers announced leadership moves.

1. Augmedics added former DePuy Synthes President Nadav Tomer to the board of directors and former Medtronic executive Reed Krider as chief marketing officer.

2. Steven Haddad, MD, joined orthopedic devicemaker Extremity Medical as chief clinical officer.

3. Colfax’s spinoff, Enovis, named its board leadership March 11.

4. Conformis nominated Gary Fischetti to join its board of directors.

5. Tony Melkent, who served senior leadership roles at Medtronic and Smith+Nephew, was hired at NanoMag.

6. Frank Vizesi, PhD, was appointed chief scientific officer of SeaSpine after seven years with the company.
