“The growing focus on the development of bone cement with high quality and safety such as antibiotic-loaded bone cement for arthroplasty and orthopedic joint fixation, with better features, will increase the competition among existing vendors,” said Technavio’s Barath Palada, the lead orthopedics and medical devices research analyst.
Strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions and research and development investment are expected to strengthen the top five companies and increase their revenue shares.
