1. Mr. Stiles’ compensation in 2023 was $6.5 million, according to the company’s most recent proxy statement. In 2022 he earned $5.7 million, and in 2021 he earned $5.2 million.
2. He joined Stryker in 1999 as part of its endoscopy business and had leadership roles in other segments including instruments, joint replacement, communications and neurovascular.
3. Mr. Stiles became group president of orthopedics and spine in 2019.
4. Mr. Stiles is on the board of directors for Chart Industries and the Medical Device Manufacturing Association.
5. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
