5 medtech notes: OrthAlign and more

From FDA clearances and new implant data, here are five updates from spine and orthopedic medtech companies since Oct. 2.

1. OrthAlign earned FDA clearance for its Lantern Hip handheld technology for direct anterior total hip arthroplasty.

2. Regenity Biosciences earned FDA 510(k) clearance for RejuvaKnee, a collagen-based meniscus implant designed for reinforcement and repair of soft tissue injuries of the meniscus.

3. Tenon Medical shared preliminary data for its Catamaran sacroiliac joint fusion system. 

4. Bioretec is accelerating development of its RemeOs spinal interbody cage after earning the FDA’s breakthrough device designation in March.

5. Foundation Surgical earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its Interwedge standalone lateral interbody system.
