4 things to know about Dr. Randal Betz, WishBone Medical’s new CMO

Global pediatric orthopedic company WishBone Medical appointed Randal Betz, MD, as CMO.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Betz is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at the Institute for Spine and Scoliosis in Lawrenceville, N.J.

2. Dr. Betz received his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia and underwent pediatric orthopedic fellowship training at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del. He focuses on pediatric deformity correction. 

3. He previously served as chief of staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia. As CMO, Dr. Betz will provide strategic expertise and guidance for the WishBone’s product portfolio and help with key opinion leader relationships on a part-time consulting basis.

4. Dr. Betz holds 17 patents, published five books and has written 330 scientific peer-reviewed articles.
