4 spine, orthopedic updates on Apple Vision Pro

Apple Vision Pro is the company’s first 3D camera, and it has already made waves in the spine and orthopedic industry.

Here are four updates on the Apple Vision Pro that Becker’s has reported on since March 12:

1. Bruno Gobbato, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Jaraguá Hospital in Brazil, has become the first surgeon in the country to use the Apple Vision Pro during a shoulder arthroscopy.

2. Osso VR launched Apple Vision Pro apps for carpal tunnel release and total knee replacement.

3. G. Russell Huffman, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopedic Institute, completed the first reverse total shoulder arthroplasty using the Apple Vision Pro.

4. Surgeons at London-based Cromwell Hospital became the first in the country to use tech company Apple’s Vision Pro headset during a spinal operation.
