30 surgeons attend Medovex’s cadaver lab highlighting DenerveX System: 6 takeaways

Atlanta-based Medovex conducted a cadaver lab, highlighting the company’s DenerveX System.

Here are six takeaways:

 

1. The DenerveX System is used in minimally invasive posterior capsulectomy procedures.

 

2. The company’s medical advisory board members Martin Deeg, MD, from Stuttgart, Germany; Vik Kapoor, MD, from Manchester, England; and Gabriel Davila, MD, from Colombia, Latin America, led the cadaver lab.

 

3. Thirty spines surgeon from Europe and Latin American attended the cadaver lab.

 

4. The DenerveX System includes the DenerveX device, a single use medical device, as well as the DenerveX Pro-40 Power Generator.

 

5. The DenerveX System is not CE marked or FDA cleared, yet.

 

6. Medovex hosted the cadaver lab during the annual North American Spine Society meeting in Boston from Oct. 26 to Oct. 28, 2016.
