1st spine case combining 2 imaging technologies done in Connecticut

The first spine surgery in Connecticut using Augmedics’ XVision system and the Airo TruCT Mobile Imaging System was performed at the UConn Health Spine Center in Farmington.

Isaac Moss, MD, completed the surgery, according to a May 11 post on LinkedIn. The technologies are designed to allow surgeons to visualize the spine in 3D while operating.

The Airo TruCT system is a mobile CT imaging system from Stryker. Augmedics’ XVision system is designed to help surgeons with implant placement.
