Here are four things to know.

1. Life Spine’s full lateral procedural offering now consists of PLATEAU-X Lateral Spacer System, LONGBOW Expandable Spacer System, CENTRIC Expandable Retractor System, graft delivery system OSTEO-LINE and the SENTRY 2 Lateral Plating System.

2. The SENTRY 2 Lateral Plating System is a stabilization solution designed to provide supplemental fixation from a lateral single position approach. SENTRY 2, along with SENTRY 4 Lateral Plating System, is intended to enable the surgeon to perform a complete stabilization and fixation procedure while the patient is in the lateral decubitus position.

3. This single approach concept is intended to do away with the time, risk and cost usually associated with patient repositioning for posterior fixation while providing stability.

4. SENTRY 2’s narrow profile is designed to minimize retraction and trauma to the psoas and lumbar plexus, as well as provide a surgical solution when exposure is limited by the iliac crest or ribs.
