Globus Medical taps into trauma market – 11 new devices receive FDA clearance

After its success the spine market, Globus Medical is now entering the orthopedic trauma market.

1. Globus Medical is showcasing its new devices at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in New Orleans March 6 to March 10.

 

2. The devices include the:

 

• Comprehensive Anthem Ankle Fracture System

• Arbor External Fixator System

• Autobahn Tibial Nailing System

• Anthem Small Fragment Plating System

• Comprehensive Anthem Distal Radius Fracture System

• Anthem Proximal Humerus Plating System

• Comprehensive Captivate Compression Screw System

• Anthem Proximal Tibia Plating System

• Anthem Clavicle Plating System

 

3. Globus Medical designed its trauma portfolio to treat a variety of fracture patterns and accommodate varying patient anatomies in upper and lower extremities.
