10 Centinel Spine milestones in 1 year

Here are 10 major milestones for cervical and lumbar spine device leader Centinel Spine since February 2024:

1. In February, Centinel Spine signed a senior secured loan agreement with SLR Capital Partners for $60 million. 

2. In February, Centinel surpassed 10,000 procedures using the prodisc cervical total disc replacement system.

3. Centinel Spine saw prodisc revenue surpass $95 million in 2024.

4. In November, two major commercial payers in the mid-Atlantic region expanded coverage for Centinel Spine’s one- and two-level lumbar total disc replacement procedures.

5. In October, Centinel Spine completed the first U.S. implantation of its Prodisc C Nova cervical total disc replacement product, the fourth design addition to its prodisc line.

6. Centinel Spine saw a 30% year-over-year increase in worldwide disc replacement sales in the third quarter of 2024. 

7. In September, Centinel surpassed 7,500 cases with its Prodisc C Vivo and Prodisc C SK implants in the U.S.

8. Centinel Spine’s second quarter 2024 earnings showed record growth from the same period a year prior. Its revenue growth came due to the expansion of its prodisc product line used for treating cervical and lumbar spine.

9. In March, the largest commercial payer in Washington implemented coverage for Centinel Spine’s Prodisc L implant.

10. In February 2024, Centinel earned coverage from a large commercial payer in Tennessee for one- and two-level lumbar disc replacement.
