Three things to know:
1. The practice performed the procedure with providers from Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare, which recently installed the system.
2. Mazor X enables surgeons to create personalized 3D surgical plans before surgery and holds surgical instrumentation in place with a robotic arm during spine procedures.
3. The robot is used to treat complex scoliosis and kyphosis, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spondylolisthesis and revision spine surgeries.
