Spine robot market to approach $1B by 2028

The spine surgical robot market, estimated to be worth $331.2 million in 2022, is projected to reach $988.8 million by 2028, according to a market report released June 20.

Three notes:

1. Over the next six years, the market is anticipated to increase at a compound annual growth rate of 20 percent.

2. At 68 percent, North America has the largest share of the robotic spine market, according to the report. Asia-Pacific follows with about 18 percent of market share.

3. Major players in the robotic spine medtech industry include Mazor Robotics, Globus Medical, Medtech SA and Tina VI Medical Technologies, the report said.
