Resurgens Ortho performs 500th Mako joint replacement

Four surgeons at Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics have collectively completed 500 total joint replacement surgeries using Stryker’s Mako robotic system.

J. Bernard Bush, MD, Jason Brustein, MD, Scott Cahoon, MD, and Charles Claps, MD, completed the knee, hip and knee replacement procedures at Resurgens’ South Surgery Center in McDonough, Ga., according to an Aug. 1 company news release shared with Becker’s. The first such surgery at the facility was performed in April 2021.
