Brian Hill, MD, debuted the Mako shoulder robot at West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Palm Beach Orthopaedic Institute, according to a Jan. 13 news release.
Stryker’s Mako shoulder is designed for shoulder replacement and used CT and 3D planning to support surgeons.
Dr. Hill is one of a handful of U.S. physicians trained to use Mako shoulder.
