The Hoag Orthopedic Institute Surgery Center Beverly Hills (Calif.) has added a Globus spine robot. 

The excitement and hype around spinal robotics continues to grow as more device companies launch new robotic devices and more surgeons become familiar with the technology. 

Orthopedic surgeon Phillip Myers, DO, of Singing River Orthopedics in Ocean Spring, Miss., is the first surgeon in the state to perform surgery using an augmented reality technology called HipInsight.

Think Surgical is partnering with Signature Orthopaedics, an orthopedic device manufacturer in Australia, according to a July 9 news release. 

Longview (Texas) Regional Medical Center surgeons Jordan Stanley, MD, and Martin Hilton, MD, have each performed more than 500 minimally invasive robotic-assisted joint replacement surgeries, according to a July 8 report from the East Texas Review.

Joshua Herzog, MD, performed his first case with the ExcelsiusGPS, according to a July 2 LinkedIn post. 

Surgical Robotics Technology named the winners of its 2024 Surgical Robotics Industry Awards, honoring industry leaders across five categories. 

Danville, Ky.-based Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center is now offering robotic knee replacements.

Irvine, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute has added Smith + Nephew's CORI surgical robot at its Aliso Viejo, Calif., surgery center, according to a June 27 press release sent to Becker's.
