Orthopedic company raises $15.9M to complete knee robot

Paris-based Ganymed Robotics raised an additional 15 million Euros, or approximately $15.9 million, in Series B funding, the company said Jan. 4.

The funding brings Ganymed Robotics’ total to 35 million Euros, or approximately $38.2 million, according to a news release. The combined funds will help complete the company’s development of a total knee replacement robot, accelerate regulatory market activities and bolster the innovation product pipeline.

Ganymed Robotic in July raised 21 million Euros, or approximately $21.3 million. The company was founded in 2018.
