Ohio hospital adds Medtronic spine robot

Mercy Health’s St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, added the Mazor X Stealth robot, the hospital said in a March 21 news release.

The hospital is the third in Ohio to add the robot since the beginning of March. Akron-based Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center announced it onboarded the technology March 8. On March 7, Shaker Heights-based University Hospitals said it added Mazor X Stealth.

Mazor X Stealth provides surgeons with preoperative planning tools and helps with screw placement during operations, according to the release.
